Estel Cardellach        Dr. Estel Cardellach, ICE-CSIC/IEEC:    " Reflectometry using sources of                                                                                                                     opportunity: a review "

Estel Cardellach received a PhD degree from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia, Barcelona, Spain, in 2002. She has been working on scientific applications of GNSS for remote sensing of the Earth, such as extraction of geophysical information of the GNSS reflected signals, radio-occultation, and geodetic techniques. She was a National Research Council Awardee for a postdoctoral position at NASA/Jet Propulsion Laboratory, Pasadena, CA (2002-2003); a postdoctoral researcher at Harvard Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics, Cambridge, MA (2003-2005).
Since 2005 she is at the Institute of Space Sciences (ICE-CSIC/IEEC), Barcelona, Spain, currently under the Spanish 'Ramn y Cajal' program. She is P.I. of the space-borne experiment 'Radio-Occultation and Heavy Precipitation' aboard the PAZ Low Earth Orbiter (ROHP-PAZ); and a member of the 'GNSS Reflectometry, Radio Occultation and Scatterometry experiment aboard the International Space Station' (GEROS-ISS) Proposing Team and Scientific Advisory Group.

Invited industrialists

Jol Korsakissok      Joel Korsakissok, SILICOM:      " Use of ECHO-L 3 channels datalogger                                                                                                                          for reflectometry "

Joel Korsakissok has received an engineering degree from SUPELEC school in Paris (1986), making his internship studies at the CNRS (IN2P3 computing center and particle linear accelerator of ORSAY).
He first worked mainly on aeronautic and space domain projects between 1986 and 1994 in France and in Germany: Eureka project REQUEST, Airbus Autopilot, ESA control station systems, CNES on board software simulator, Russian MIR Station onboard experiment PHYSIOLAB. In 1994, he took the head of SILICOM Toulouse, since that period, manages 50 engineers, and has created many activities: Electromagnetic Product Line (1998), GNSS Product Line (2006), Nanosatellite activity (2010). He also took the head of International Business Development of SILICOM in 2008.

Bernhard Riedl               Dr. Bernhard Riedl, IFEN:      " Reflectometry applications with the                                                                                                              SX-NSR software receiver "

Dr. Bernhard Riedl received his diploma in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology from the Technical University of Munich. Since 1994 he has been concerned with research in the field of real-time GNSS applications at the University FAF Munich, where he also received his PhD. In 2006 he joined IFEN GmbH, where he is currently working as product manager SX-NSR.
